So you're giving away the press kit to random community members but not offering it to sale to those of us who happen to browse other gaming forums?
someone is out there who will like you. take off your mask so they can find you faster.

If by "giving away" you mean "giving the first chance to purchase" and by "random community members" you mean "people who actively participate specifically within the MM9 community" then yes. This is nothing new really. Only Unity members get mailed t-shirts and other gifts. A few select MotoGP fans received John Hopkins autographed copies of MotoGP 07, just to thank them for their enthusiasm and continued support. Only Capcom-Unity members have gotten to come to our media events. Hell, if you're a REALLY good Capcom-Unity member, we may give you a job (ask Snow). Activity within Capcom-Unity is going to have benefits over activity elsew If by "giving away" you mean "giving the first chance to purchase" and by "random community members" you mean "people who actively participate specifically within the MM9 community" then yes. The people who support us most by participating here are the people who we view as caring most about us.

OK, thanks for clearing that up. Thanks for giving fans access to this kind of promotional material at all! I'll just content myself with the game and soundtrack and wait for more quality Capcom products to buy!
(by the way, any chance you'll find that official enemy list I asked about http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/go/thread/view/7371/4946311/Megaman_9_official_enemy_names?sdb=1 ? A lot of the enemies are new versions of old enemies so some of the names can kind of be halfway deduced, and since Arino-kacho is playing the game for Gamecenter CX the miniboss names will be revealed, but it'd still be nice to have a full list.)

To be honest, the way you're doing it makes a lot of sense. When I heard about the MM9 retail thing and how limited it was, I was really worried that at one point the flood gates would just open, and people who've been fans for years would lose out on the chance to get a copy to people just looking to make a quick buck. Once the announcement was made that the retail kits would go on sale, I pretty much checked my computer every 5 minutes hoping that I would luck out and get a copy of Mega Man 9 to put with my NES cartridges. I've been a fan since Mega Man 2 (one of the first video games I ever bought) and I can't tell you how excited I am that the people who commented in the blog post might have the first chance at buying the press kit. You guys really go out of your way to support the community here and elsewhere (like the Playstation blog) and I'm really impressed. -Jaime |

I'm a total nerd for this kind of stuff. One thing I'd like to know, though. Does the press kit come with a voucher for the actual game? I'm a 360 owner, so I don't actually have the game itself yet. |

Well good to know more codes are still being sent out once the problem is fixed. |

Yes but we still don't know what the criteria is to get the code. Please advise. |
